kitchen drama

last week my lavabo de kusina fell on me, literally!  then the pipes went bust.  then the maintenance crew charged into my unit because the people living beneath mine are all mad because the pipes in their bedroom are leaking sebo.  disaster!!!!

now my friend's mom whom i contacted as the one to be my kitchen saver havent emailed me yet her new designs... so in the meantime while im alternating from making my son's first birthday invitation and googling whatever, i am secretly hoping her new designs will get my hubby's approval and will cost me just right.

kindergarten lessons

i just bought my daughter's school materials.  she goes to a montessori school btw.  i was overwhelmed when the teacher itemized each book in the list.  oh boy did my eyes go wide when i saw these...

do you remember your kindergarten class?  didnt we just play around all day then?  sing songs and color plenty?

my fab friend E stayed the same.  shes getting married next month btw.  

Me Time

there are days when i feel like i need a breather.  like i just have to get away from it all even for an hour.  at times i feel guilty about it.  but when i come back i feel better and ready to face everything again.

and i thought it was just me and maybe that something was wrong with me.  but i found out last night my best gals J and M gets me too.  J isnt married yet but she feels the same about work.  i was surprised while we were talking about kids and work or challenges at home, that they too feel that sometimes.  i was so happy to hear M say "don't get me wrong, theres no doubt about it that i love my kids to death, but there are days that just makes me want to get out of the house even for a bit."

and last night at the Agave restaurant was what we all needed.  some nacho grande and good friends.
